Tears of Happiness

The sky went gray
Through the window,
A watch, a constant
Watch for freedom.
The gusts of wind
Embalming my face,
The drizzle of rain
Drenched with my
Memories. The monsoon
Showers, falling
Incessantly now like
Drops of tears with
Happiness of meeting,
Uniting with her love.
I want to cry like
The sky tonight,
I want to cry with
The sky.

The Child of the Moon

Are you going for dream hunting
Tonight?
With your Bat-suit on and your
Wings fluttering in the dark,
With all the world to save from the
Evils of the night.

But when the night becomes the
Knight,
What then Darling!
Do you feel lonely inside that suit?
Does that suit replaces
Your skin with all its enmity?

Does your tears run dry, while
Trying to forget you future?
Don’t you feel the burden of
Being the child of the
Moon?
Don’t you miss your life inside you?

Do you miss your love, running
Inside your veins,
Turning caliginous with the
The darkness inside your soul?
Don’t you feel the thirst or the hunger
For the warmth?

Don’t you feel the need to be close?

Talaash

Mujhe Kya Pata ...

Playing Rocky and Adrian

Good morning!
What a pleasant day!
Picturesque, isn’t it?
A perfect morning for a walk
In the park.
Leaves, leaves burnt in this autumn
Morning, falling all over the place, like
Rain from a cloudy sky.
But this is more cheering instead of
The sad face of a
Monsoon sky.

How good to see you!
Let’s exchange some pleasantries,
Shall we?
What, you have seen us before!
I don’t quite recollect, honestly.
Have we met them before
Darling?
See, even she does not remember
Us meeting together.

What, you have seen us in the
Movies!
I am sorry but we are actor in real life,
Me and her.
What, we look like Rocky and Adrian?
Well, sure we do. But unlike them
We don’t paint our face for the camera.
We do it for eachother. Why?
Because
We are in love!

How romantic, isn’t it?
Yes, we have been with eachother
For almost since the
Beginning of time.
And we had always played
Rocky and Adrian.
I am Rocky, and she is
My Adrian.
But we are the Rocky and Adrian
Of real life and not the reel life.

You can say that
I am the Man and she is my Woman.
No, I don’t own her. She does.
And we have entwined eachother
Forever, like some magical symbiotic flora
Hanging onto eachother
To endow the manna of love.

What do we do? Well, whatever
A normal person does.
We live, we breath, we eat, we see
And we make love.
No, not at the darkness of the
Dank night. But we make love
Like this bright autumn morning.
What, you find it difficult to believe!
Why would you? You don’t know
What making love is!

Let me tell you then,
Making love is hiding in eachother’s minds
Through the way of their bodies.
Making love is touching eachother’s souls.
And just like the characters in the movies
We do it.

You are alien to the concept of love!
How surprising!
How do you sustain then? Why, how do you
Breath and live?
No wonder we haven’t met earlier.
Else we would have molded you
So that even you could play Rocky and Adrian.
Love is contagious
You see.

The Room and the Dreams of a Fairy

The room spoke about us,
Whispering with a gleeful joy
To the neighboring houses
Of how it held you and me
Within it's womb for those
Precious moments,
In the sandbox of her heart.

When you latched the lock
And secured our future
(With an empty pocket)
In the hands of the most
Beautiful fairy, you!

Between the door
Where you rested on your back.
Fragrance had set in,
Which you said had
Made you hold your breath
As you took your hands in mine
Forever, never to leave
Like the yielding ebbing tides.

And then we spoke of the moon
With it's broken wings
Which knows no bounds.

As I took a slice out of time
To gift it on a silver platter,
You tasted it.
It was
Salty, smothered with a
Carefree concoction of love.

I touched you inside,
Deep, in the abyss of your heart
Where no one touched before,
In you dreams.
Filling you up with all the colors
That you had ever imagined,
That you ever saw with those eyes,
My eyes!

The room ran into sweat
As the colors brightened,
Heightened
With the pleasure that was meant only
For your soul,
For your mind,
For your body,
Which rose to the zenith of
Fulfillment,
With a sour taste of togetherness.

It sighed of relief,
As your beautiful hair
Laid on my arms,
Tired, as you melted into my skin
Like a chameleon in the jungle,
Inseparable.
And I hid inside you
Away, far far away
From the crowd,
Sleeping, slipping into an eternal bliss
Of a heavenly galore.

The room spoke about us,
As it held us inside it's womb
Like the children of the night.
We played, unaware of
Consequences,
And the futile, frivolous mocking of
The toothless preachers.

Unmindful, blissfully ignorant
Of the surroundings, we healed
And loved.

As I lay beside you
Burning in desire,
And with bitter sweet pain of joy
That love had offered us
In a moment of an endless madness,
That held our hearts captive
In a sweet rhythm of the sound
That we had heard since
I never heard of your
Dreams.

I slept peacefully within your heart
As you woke inside me
Filling me,
With the color of your dreams!
