Wanna Paint the City Red? Have you tried de Blob?

Wanna paint the city red? Well, here's a solution for you. Atleast a feasible one which would not land you behind the bars. THQ Inc. has announced that de Blob, the award-winning Wii game from it's internal studio Blue Tongue Entertainment, is now shipping to retail outlets worldwide. Utilizing Wii’s innovative motion-sensing controller, de Blob let the players launch a color revolution by bouncing, smashing and painting Chroma City back to life through their creative use of color and music.

So what's the story behind de Blob? Well, the evil I.N.K.T. Corporation has declared “Color is a Crime!", while robbing the beautiful and vibrant Chroma City of all it's colors and imprisoning its citizens. Only the iconic hero de Blob can flip, bounce and paint his way past the evil Inkys to launch a color revolution and save Chroma City from a future without color. Developed by THQ’s Blue Tongue Entertainment, players take on the heroic role of de Blob and lead an underdog group of determined Color Revolutionaries in a battle against massive tank battalions, speedy I.N.K.T. racers and elite Inky soldiers on a quest to free the citizens of Chroma City. Deadly traps also await de Blob on his perilous journey to the impenetrable I.N.K.T. Fortress, including hot plates, electric shocks and Inky turrets. de Blob has an intense, single-player campaign spanning ten levels, numerous quick-fire sprint challenges and over eight multiplayer options for up to four people, de Blob allows players to creatively remix the city by using custom paints, patterns and soundtracks. The race to rescue Chroma City has just begun, and only de Blob can save the world from a black-and-white future!
